Indo-Pak social media summit held in Karachi which gathered a large number of Bloggers and Tweeters from both the countries. The event started with a bang, as two young internet celebrities; Ali Gul Pir (singer of “waderai ka beta”) and Aftab Ali (from Bayghairat Brigade the singer of ”Aaloo Anday”) hosted the event and providing their audience worth of seeing them together. The event started with some jokes about Sindhi conduct and behavior cracked by both the celebrities. Nadeem Farooq Paracha then asked a question from Aftab,"When Meezan cooking oil can take someone as controversial as Dr Aamir Liaquat in their commercial, then why not someone like you?" he replied, "Because I don't have a smile like his," leaving the audience in world of laughetr. Both the songs (“waderai ka beta” and “Aaloo anday”) have challenged the Pakistani music on both TV and internet, the metal heads of Pakistan have provided something nothing short of awesomeness, But among them "Waderai Ka Beta" was the one that really gave us the line of the decade which was 'Saaen tau Saeen, Saeen ka kutta bhi Saaen'. At the end of the summit the organiser Sabeen Mehmood went onto the stage along with Pir having some freestyle dancing as "Waderai Ka Beta" was played in the background. | Rockstars Tanseer Daar and Nabeel Nihal Chishti to Join Forces Posted: 16 Jul 2012 02:45 AM PDT Two of the biggest rock tycoons from two of the most critically acclaimed bands in Pakistan working together under one roof? Is it possible? It sure is because hard rock band Karavan's lead vocalist Tanseer Ahmed Daar and alternative rock band Aaroh's former lead guitarist Nabeel Nihal Chishti have revealed to join forces and release an album titled 'The Nabeel Nihal Project' as a collaborative effort at the end of the year. Considering the fact that both the performers are exceptionally gifted when it comes to rock at its purest form, Guitarist Nabeel was in search of a vocalist and with the amount of experience Tanseer has on his shoulders alongside with Karavan, he was a perfect choice. "A vocalist like Dar will spell the true magic in the album," said Nabeel. "He has undiscovered talent and is the best amongst all the vocalists that I had tried for this album." Regarding the selection, Tanseer considers himself lucky as he stated, "Nabeel had just called me to sing one song for his album but he liked it so much that I ended up singing them all." It is to be recalled that the band Karavan is set to make a reunion but with Tanseer's commitment to the Nabeel, one can definitely expect a clash but the former has made it clear that the band is indeed a priority. "It's just one project. Karavan is like my baby. The songs that we made run in my blood. It's everything to me and it will always remain this way," said Tanseer regarding his respective collaborations. Upon researching, it has come to our knowledge that her Husband is a renown and a leading business man, who holds one of the largest businesses in the world with the name of MMA Group. The couple had been in love for quite sometime before they finally decided to tie the knot. Some pictures, that we have received, show the couple hanging and dating out in different countries. Annie whose various affairs (with pictures) have been surfaced earlier, has now finally decided to tie the knot with Noureed. This has been quite a shocking day for us Pakistanis as we have heard more news regarding Sports and Entertainment than Politics. First, it was the news regarding Amir Khan, who lost his most anticipated boxing match. Then, the unexpected news of Aisam-Faha divorce became the headline on the news. And now, we have just heard that Pop Singer Annie Khalid has got married with Malik Noureed Awan. Its not confirmed who actually is the bride groom and where the marriage ceremony took place. But according to TV channels, the marriage ceremony was celebrated in a decent manner, with only close family members invited to the event place. Annie Khalid who claimed her fame from debut single “Mahiya”, has released a couple of music albums in her career. Her songs have also been featured in Bollywood movies and she has also collaborated with various International artists. Update: According to Annie’s media manager Faisal Khan, Annie Khalid’s Nikaah was held in Lahore on Sunday 15th July 2012. Reportedly Faha Akmal is currently living in London with her parents, after the couple couldn't develop good understanding and hence decided to part ways. Though it is sad for Aisam and Faha but our media have completed lost it. A TV Channel contacted Aisam’s cook to know why the marriage didn’t work out. They are insensitively running songs on separation. Their separation is a personal matter and our media need to show some respect and practice its ethics. Update: Following the news of Aisam-Faha divorce spread by Pakistani Media, the parents of both have come to front and denied the separation news. Update # 1: Soon after the father of Aisam claimed that the marriage is not broken and the news is not authentic, Geo News reported that Faha Akmal has confirmed the news saying: “I respect Ehtashaam Uncle, but he is wrong over here. Aisam and I are not happy with each other and Aisam has signed divorce papers.” Allegedly, She further wrote on a social website: “Our families don’t want to reveal our issue, but I’m serious and so is Aisam.
