Due to PEMRA's (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) belief that the Bollywood film aims to disgrace the image of Pakistan's ISI (Inter-service Intelligence), all the satellite television channels and cable networks were forced to make sure that the film's promo is not shown. Such acts have convinced both Salman Khan and Kabir Khan to come to the neighboring country and tell their dedicated fans that they have no such intentions. Regarding the trip, director Kabir Khan stated, "neither Salman nor I ever visited Pakistan, so why not? We are willing to do anything that`s required to make Pakistanis believe that our project is not against them. I don't think the trailer being banned is a big deal. Once the film releases, the truth will be out." Whatever the case may be, both Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are confident that once their voices are heard, the Pakistani censor board itself will be convinced that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is not anti-Pakistani and will be more than happy to show the movie to the dedicated Bollywood fans in Pakistan. | Manzar Sehbai to Sue Lux Style Awards Posted: 12 Jul 2012 06:22 AM PDT
Apparently, the actor has greatly been offended by the fact that the management of the Lux Style Awards has written the incorrect spelling of his father's name. The last name of the actore is Sehbai but the management wrote it as Shebhai . Not only that, but Manzar was also angry because the LSA never contacted him for the awards ceremony. The award was accepted by Mahira Khan (who portrayed his daughter in 'Bol') on his behalf but Manzar has been offended by this act too as he desired that Sarmad Sehbai (his brother) accepts the award on his behalf. Shockingly, Manzar has stated, "Mahira is more than a daughter to me but I never wanted her to receive the award on my behalf." For those unfamiliar with it, it is A Plus' live drama act which is shown at the morning show 'Subh Ki Fiza'. 'Susral Gainda Phool' is more than your average drama in its own right as well as it involves some elements from Hum TV's most successful drama serial 'Humsafar' such as focusing on personal issues concerning with in-laws. The show is unique in the sense that the cast is chosen by the choice of the dedicated fans and with the addition of the hot Sana Nawaz Khan, the show will eventually reach no where but up. However, the number of her anticipated appearances is limited as she will perform for only three days in her new show. Do not take your eye off 'Susral Gainda Phool' to catch the performances of the beauty that is Sana. Meesha Shafi has been one hell of a rising star in the Pakistani Music industry and with her version the song 'Dasht-e-Tanhai', it cannot be denied that she has kept the spirits of legendary musician Iqbal Bano and mesmerizing poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz alive. SYMT and Sanam Marvi performed an incredible duet together as their song 'Koi Labda' has managed to be quite an asset for the current season. Despite the lyrics not being impressive, the combination proved to be worthy as its pop flavor and sensational melody did the trick. One can definitely not forget the song 'Seher' as this was exactly what Coke Studio has been looking for. The show has always been a combination of various musical instruments and with the addition of sitar, the current season successfully managed to spice things up. With a father like Ustad Rais Khan, one can imagine where the chip-off-the-old-block Farhan Rais Khan got his roots from.
