The film which has been shot in Jaipur, Gujarat and Rajasthan has been directed by Soham Shah of Kaal. The film which also feature talent like Vivek Oberoi and Paresh Rawal. In the film Humaima Malick plays the role of the Sunjay Dutt character's wife, which is narrated through a series of flashback sequences after her husband's death. Regarding her first ever opportunity to star in an Indian film, Humaima says, "I feel I'm crossing the border with a role that echoes my earlier film. Like my character in Bol, here too, my character revolts against patriarchy. I am not just the male protagonist's wife." With the success of Bol, Malick has not only made her presence felt in the film industry, she has also won many laurels for her award-winning performance. The young model-turned-actor who has played contrasting roles in the famous television dramas such as "Barish kay Ansoo" and "Tanveer Fatima", admits it was always her dream to make it to the big screen. "I always wanted to do movies." In an interesting twist of fate, Humaima Malick plays the same role as Shabana Azmi's national award winning role in Vinay Shukla's Godmother. Godmother, which was released in 1999, was inspired by the life of Santokben Jadeja, a gangster's wife. Sher is set for release at the end of this year, and is an eagerly anticipated film for audience both in India and Pakistan. Those unfamiliar with the uniqueness of this one kind of an event, it is a competition for the young generation to show their gymnastics and rhythmic moves with a football. The event was a tremendous success and so was the performance of the participants. According to one of the participants, the event focused less on football and more about acrobatics, dancing and "expressing yourself." The energetic 32 participants were given a time limit of three minutes to show off their skills and creativity with one football. "We don't get many events like these around here," said a 20 year-old attendee Emad. He further added, "There is a lot of talent in Pakistan, but real dearth of platforms for highlighting them. Among the attendees, a former football player Ali (currently working in finance) stated, "It is amazing how talented these youngsters are. It makes me wish there was a platform such as this while I was still playing (football). If there were, for all you know, I might have chosen a different career path." The event was greatly appreciated all over Karachi and met with quite a positive feedback. The lucky winner from the event will be granted the opportunity to go to Italy in order to qualify in the final round against several freestylers from over 60 countries. It surely is a matter of pride for Pakistan to see what the young generation can accomplish at their level. The so-called a hair care technology is called 'Fiberceutic' and its launching ceremony was met with quite a positive response. Apart from several fashionists and high profile socialites from Karachi, the ceremony consisted of many big names from the Pakistani fashion industry. Lotus PR was responsible for launching ceremony's media and PR. Among the enthusiastic attendees, there were Mehar Najeeb, Huma Tahir, Mona J, Peng Qureshi but most importantly Saba Ansari from Sabs Salon and fashion designer Aeisha Varsi. As L’Oréal Professionnel has proudly claimed that it is the solution for every major hair problems due to its technological approach, several people cautious about their hair or victims of hair fall attended the launching ceremony. The ceremony was an utter success and only time can tell whether the same can be said for Fiberceutic. Ali Gul Pir has revealed in a recent interview that he once woke up and began to pen down the clever and catchy lyrics for the song 'Waderai Ka Beta'. Within just two hours, the song was born. Ali later discussed the concept of the song with his friends and eventually began working on it. The music video was shot entirely in Karachi, mainly near the Sea View Area, and was edited by Ali's friend, Raza Arif. The production management was under the control of Usama Sami. After hard effort on the theme, music and the video, the song was finally uploaded online. Upon its online release, the song gained quite a huge popularity and the name Ali Gul Pir gained an overnight success. Ali Gul Pir, by means of email and texts, later thanked in the interview to all the fans for making a dream come true. As of now, the song has received more than nine hundred thousand hits and soon it will hit the milestone of a million views.
