Lollywood star Shabnam returns to Pakistan after 14 years Posted: 24 Apr 2012 06:29 AM PDT By Arfa Mahmood Famous silverscreen superstar and wife of renowned music composer Robin Ghosh- Shabnam- has returned to Pakistan after a long period of 14 years. The couple moved to Bangladesh in late 1990s and now after such a long time span, they are back in Pakistan. The actress was warmly welcomed on Karachi Airport by Pakistani media and her beloved fans. On asking, Will she meet her previous colleagues, Shabnam replied, " I’ll try to meet everyone". When she was asked about rejoining the acting career, She didn’t give a sure reply. Shabnam and Robin are in Pakistan to participate in a show organised by the Pakistan Television. Reportedly, Pakistan Television Network is planning an event in Lahore to honour the huge contribution Shabnam and Robin Ghosh made to the Pakistani film industry. Shabnam rose to fame in 1961 with her famous movie "Harano Din". She had done more than 180 movies and after that, she decided to move to Bangladesh in 1999.
