Day 2: Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 (PBCW4 Pictures)

Karachi, 15^th April, 2012: The second day of Pantene Bridal Couture Week (PBCW4) brought by Style360, held yesterday left the audience spellbound from the word go. Those who had not been present on the first day were floored by the impressive lounge and red carpet area, and the stunning set comprising Roman arches, Grecian urns with fresh flower arrangements and statues, and picture windows. Those who had witnessed the previous day's shows were wowed by the fact that the pictures of the picture windows and all the statues had been changed from the previous day.

The show opened with Zainab Sajid's ethnic collection in a mélange of colours. Zainab Sajid's show stopper was worn by Humaima Malik. She was followed by Humayun Alamgir who displayed his impressive men's wear comprising mostly sherwanis and Shalwar Kameezes. Humayun Alamgir's showstopper was worn by Fahad Mustafa. After Hasan Rizvi's energetic performance that had everyone clapping throughout, Saba and Misbah of Hijab closed the show.

The second show opened with the wonderful signature earthy creations by Shamael Ansari. Showstopper of Shameal Ansari was worn by Shaista Wahidi. Ruby Shakeel followed after which an exuberant dance number by Hasan Rizvi and the BodyBeat troupe enthralled the audience. Saim Ali came in next, whose show stopper was worn by Sana. This was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance by the incredible Egyptian tanura dancer, Hamada. Indian fashion designers Rabbani and Rakha closed the day on a high note with their scintillating collection of saris and gowns. The show was choreographed by Imran Kureshi, and the makeup and styling was done by Sabs Saloon. The set design and event management was done by Style 360.

PR – Karachi, April 14, 2012: Pantene Bridal Couture Week organized by Style360 kicked off to a rollicking start yesterday. The beautifully decorated lounge and red carpet area, complete with fresh flower arrangements set the tone for the evening. The ramp decorated with Roman arches, picture windows, beautiful chandeliers, statues, and fresh flower arrangements in huge Grecian urns all helped to give a surreal look to the venue.

The show began with Mona Imran's ethnic collection comprising farshis, churidars and aizaars which were an instant hit. Aamir Baig came in next with a collection that boasted a mix of colour and embellishments. His collection was marked by a predominance of polka dots and geometrical shapes.

After an exuberant Mehndi performance by BodyBeat Obaid Sheikh closed the first show with his fusion collection boasting a profusion of off-whites with bold, contrasting colours and silver work.

The second show opened with a fascinating Hair and Make-up Show by Sabs, with striking ensembles by Zaheer Abbas. BodyBeat's enjoyable performance followed after which Argetum displayed their brilliant jewellery. After a performance by Club Caramel the show came to a vibrant and impressive end with the rich and heavily worked collection of the highly creative Nomi Ansari.
