Cloud #9, which is around 44 minutes long, consists of 12 tracks. Waqas, who is influenced by Joe Satriani, Kiko Loureiro, John Petrucci, Salman Ahmad, Hamza Jafri, Gustavo Guerra, and many others, has previously played for underground bands like Silversmoke and Needlework. The album features bassists Saad Munzar (of Basheer & The Pied Pipers fame) on Track 8 and Waleed Hasan on Track 11. NOORI’s VERY OWN MOBILE APP! “We told you we have something exciting in store for you guys and this is it for now with a lot more things to come,” wrote Noori on their website. “With this app, we will keep in touch with our fans better than ever! You guys can save-the-date on our future concerts and also listen to our music on the soundcloud link on our app!” This app will allow Noori fans to have up to date information about their tours, new releases, facebook and twitter updates and also their youtube videos are available! So far the app is in testing phase and is only available for download on Android phones, but soon they'll have it available for other platforms as well.
