Morning Show Host Nadia Khan to make a jumpback on GEO TV Networks Posted: 05 Mar 2012 08:09 AM PST By Danish Mughal The Pioneer TV host of modern day Morning Shows, Nadia Khan, will be making a comeback (better call it a jumpback) on GEO TV Networks again. We have learnt from our sources that after remaining dissappeared from the screen for such a long time. Nadia Khan will be coming back to the screens with a BANG. This time she will be associated again with the biggest media group of Pakistan, GEO TV Networks. Reportedly, Nadia Khan will be hosting again the “morning show” on the premier television network of Pakistan, GEO TV. Currently, the morning TV show at GEO TV is hosted by Shaista Wahidi who now has a huge following. We are still un sure whether Nadia Khan will be replacing Shaista Wahidi as morning show host, or there will be another  parallel morning show on GEO TV Network. The news got leaked when a couple of days back, Official facebook page of GEO TV, shared the page of “Nadia Khan Show”. The page management put the description like “Nadia again at Geo. Please like this page to welcome her.”. This update alerted us and when we asked our sources regarding it, it was confirmed by them. Nadia Khan Show, which used to be broadcasted from Dubai, was banned by UAE Government a couple of years ago, when Nadia Khan showed the fight of Filmstar Noor and her Husband on her show. The husband of Noor, Vikram, then filed a suit against Nadia Khan Show and the court put a ban on the show for six months or so. Later we reported that that Nadia Khan had joined Dunya News Network. There, Nadia Khan also hosted one EID Special Program on Dunya News, but later the show could not be continued. We then heard that deal couldn’t work out as “Nadia Khan was charging very high rates” and “was also sued by someone”. Now, as Nadia Khan is back on GEO TV Network, we will have to see what would be the future of Shaista Wahidi who is currently hosting the morning TV show on GEO TV. It is interesting to note here that Maya Khan has also been selected as Morning Show host on ARY NETWORK. What other choice would Shaista have in case she gets the red signal from GEO ? Ali Zafar Expressed Pride in Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Showed Confidence in His New Film Chashme Buddoor Posted: 05 Mar 2012 06:54 AM PST By Sidrah Zaheer Ali Zafar who is in India due to the promotions and release of his new film London, Paris, New York, expressed his excitement about a woman getting Pakistan's first Oscar. He said to an Indian newspaper while at the Lavasa Women's Drive awards that: "We are very proud of the fact that a woman has got the first Oscar for Pakistan. Sharmeen got the first Oscar and I have personally had the pleasure of meeting her in the past and what a great achievement for all of us." Regarding his other movie project Chashme Buddoor Ali was confident. It stars Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Sonu Niigaam and it is actually a remake of the original successful film of the same name by Sai Paranjpye made in 1981. Ali said: "Chashme Buddoor is a fun-filled film and the way David Dhawan has shot the film is great. We were watching some scenes and songs of the film and after that we could not stop laughing. Veena Malik Denies Stripping for Zindagi 50:50, Explains Copying Angelina Jolie’s ‘Oscar Pose’ Posted: 05 Mar 2012 06:49 AM PST By Sidrah Zaheer In her new film Zindagi 50:50, directed by Rajiv S Ruia, Veena Malik is playing the role of a sex worker and rumours are that she is going nude again, but this time for the film. Veena denied any such thing saying: "I'm not stripping for any film. I have never gone nude nor does the film have such scenes. There are a few bold scenes, but they are aesthetically shot." It seems like Veena enjoys poking fun at other actresses, she does so recently with Hollywood's A-list glamour actress Angelina Jolie. Veena reportedly copied Angelina's now notorious 'Oscar pose' on the runway. When asked what it was, Veena said: "Nothing was actually planned. When I wore the gown, my legs were sticking out and that was the only way I could have posed. If you see the picture, I have no fancy hairdo either."
