Maya Khan will now host Morning TV Show on ARY Channel ?

ARY Digital TV Network has reportedly hired the services of morning TV Show host Maya Khan, who had been fired from Samaa TV for raiding on dating couples in public parks.

According to some early reports, Maya Khan will be hosting a Morning TV Show again, but this time on ARY Network. Various sources are claiming that the deal has been finalized between ARY and Maya Khan and soon she will be appearing back on the TV screens.

A credible source who has verified this news is the newscaster of GEO TV, Mansoor Ali khan. Mansoor keeps an eye on the inn’s and outs of the media industry. Mansoor Tweeted earlier today:

Mayakhan has joined ARY and will be starting morning show on their channel this coming Monday

Currently, Morning Show on Ary Network is being hosted by Nida Yasir these days. There is still uncertainty as to whether Nida will be leaving the hosting show job or will be transferred to some other program.

For those who have no idea, Maya Khan was fired last month when she refused to apologize unconditionally for her show, on which dating couples were exposed. TV Host Maya Khan then later appeared on Kamran Shahid Show on Express TV to defend her position. She revealed there that the dating show was completely scripted and the couples were “professional actors”. In the same show, Maya Khan apologized with the audience to whom she had hurt with adventurous and risky program.

Iman Ali has Accepted an Offer to Work in an Indian Film

After a handful of Pakistani actors and actresses flocking over to India, like so many birds do between the two countries, now Iman Ali has also joined the list of those who will be venturing into the joint projects with Indian production and Pakistani talent on screen. Iman Ali is a renowned supermodel and a film actress who has recently shown her potential in such successful Pakistani films as Khuda Kay Liye and Bol.

She has reportedly got an offer from India for a film by Mani Ratnam. She has excitedly jumped upon this opportunity and has accepted the offer. She is expected to play a central role in the film and Iman wants to see the fill script to prepare better. The rest of the details are not yet confirmed as the process is still in its early stages. The rest of the cast is also unknown at this point.

Iman Ali is proud to be part of the Pakistani film industry and thinks that with the recent attention diverted towards Pakistani filmmakers with the Oscar win by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Pakistan film industry should take more chances. Iman Ali was quoted by a local Urdu daily newspapers that:

"Pakistani films were being recognized internationally after Khuda K Liye, Bol and Academy Award winner documentary film Saving Face."

Ali Zafar seems to be satisfied with the hard work he has put into making his new Bollywood film, London, Paris, New York, and also in promoting it. The audiences have been giving positive reaction so far and the reviews are good too. If successful, this would be the third hit film that Ali has performed in India.

However, this is his first romantic comedy film, which makes it different for Ali and his fans. Ali discussed about his experience on working in a romantic film for the first time with the Indian media saying:

"Tere Bin Laden didn’t have any romance in it while Mere Brother Ki Dulhan wasn’t sweet and saccharine either. However London Paris New York is as romantic as it gets. I feel lucky and also thankful that someone out there found me worthy enough to be put into this spot. This is my first ever romantic solo thing and obviously I am quite excited about it. Travelling to all these beautiful cities in the world anyways makes your heart beat faster than ever. Trust me, I have romanced this much for the first time ever."

Trying to do things the right way for his fans and for his own heart's satisfaction, Ali was a little nervous working on a romantic script for the first time. Ali wanted the script to go down well as a film for the audience, since both cannot work without the other. Ali said:

"I work really hard before finalising a script. London Paris New York wasn’t an easy script either. We went through a lot of workshops and readings to get it right. There are quite a few conversations in the screenplay and each of them required the right feeling, time and attention."

With the kind of reaction that the newly released film is getting, it sure seems that Ali's dedication has been fruitful.

Veena Malik had managed to bag herself another Bollywood film, despite being disliked by few Indian officials who said that she brought a negative name to their country. She was even facing troubles in getting a visa for visiting India. But finally her bad days in the media got over and now she is again making headlines for promising to show a 'rocking chemistry' with her ex-romance Ashmit Patel. She will be seen in Supermodel starring alongside him. She said about her appearance with him that:

"This is where people will get to see the rocking chemistry between Ashmit Patel and myself, long after the Bigg Boss episode."

The good part is that she is aware of making 'episodes' instead of providing genuine entertainment. She likes to travel around and says about the film and her traveling trips that:

"It will be shot in Australia and the Fiji Island and since I love travelling, it will be super fun."

Only the film producers and the audiences would know after the release of the film whether it was a fun ride or a waste of money. In a way, success of this film is something on which depends Veena's movie career in Bollywood. Up till now she was just an item song girl. Getting a role to play, she has to prove herself. It is to be seen whether she would succeed in doing so or not.

Karachi, March 3: A further testimony to the fact that HUMSAFAR has broken all previous records of popularity set by any Pakistani play in the past is that educational institutions, clubs, hotels and private parties are holding exclusive screenings of its last episode today, throughout major cities.

Among the educational institutions that are doing a mass-screening of HUMSAFAR for their students are CBM, Szabist, University of Karachi, IBA and LUMS. Beach View Club is among the clubs that have put up huge screens for viewingthe last episode of Humsafar Drama Serial.

It may be noted that no other play since 2011 to date has achieved the rating of 7.5 that Humsafar has achieved.
