Atif Aslam is done with his Fourth Studio Album

It’s been a long time since superstar singer Atif Aslam released a studio album. Over the years, he has been busy with everything except releasing his original music. Be it gigs/concerts, movie soundtracks, making music with Guns n Roses, acting in Bol Movie or appearing in Coke Studio, he has done it all. But now finally we are hearing that there is something of his own coming, which has been cooked already and in the final phase of production now.

While talking to Instep today, Atif Aslam revealed that his 4th studio album is already recorded and he is done with it. However, he is not releasing the album as he wants to make some changes to finalize it. It is also uncertain though that when Atif Aslam talks about his 4th studio album, it is his OWN album or the one in which he has collaborated with Guns n Roses, through the help of Sonic Peacemakers. Atif Aslam also looked confuse with his decision of releasing music when he said:

“I am not releasing it(album) on purpose. However, I am still in the process of thinking that whether I have to do commercial music or non-commercial music."

It seems like superstar is stuck somehwere and is not being able to make up his mind for the things he will be doing in the future. Whatever the case may be, he has got huge fan base not just in sub-continent but in the every part of the world. Where his commercial music/shows can make him even more bucks and bring her more fans and fame, his non-commerical music can win the hearts of those who made him the real star that he is now.

Fawad Khan to Work again with Sarmad Khoosat for New Drama Serial Bandhan

Fawad Khan has been reported to again work with Sarmad Khoosat in a new Television serial called Bandhan. The other cast members of serial are Neelam Munir, Mehreen Raheel, and Resham. Fawad Khan has established himself as a popular leading man on television in Pakistan with his huge success in the recently most desirable drama, Humsafar.

Again Humsafar has a team led by Sarmad Khoosat, the director and scriptwriter for the show. Fawad Khan's on-screen pairing with Mahira Khan is also a duo that people are falling head over heels for, due to their on-screen's characters' Ashar and Khirad, and the chemistry between them. With the actor-director duo of Fawad and Sarmad returning to do another project, audiences' expectations are high.

May be they would be able to create the same kind of charm for audiences with their powerful work that fans would increase and become long-lasting. This is not just good for the cast and the crew, but more so for Pakistani television channels and their drama-quality based on good content. Who knows may be Fawad Khan would be able to create another on-screen popular pair with Neelam Munir whose recent work has also been appreciated alot.

Indian Director Mohit Suri Looking for Pakistani Talent to Play Lead Roles in His Next Film

Indian director, Mohit Suri, who directed such films as Woh Lamhe, Awarapan and Murder 2 is reported to now direct Aashiqui 2. For this purpose he is in search for his cast and the right actors. He is said to be considering some of the Pakistani actors to play lead roles in his film, Mustafa Zahid of Roxen Band is one name we have been hearing the most.

Mustafa Zahid had recently been to Mumbai and there he met the director who might have made him such an offer. Mustafa Zahid had also previously worked with the director. Mohit Suri is also looking for a Pakistani actress to play the lead role. Since he wants a good pairing with great on-screen chemistry.

This will not be the first time that Mohit Suri will be utilizing Pakistani talent. He had previously worked with Atif Aslam in Zeher and also with Jawad Ahmed, Annie Khalid, Raafaquat Ali Khan and others. Nothing about the report has yet been confirmed, but the rumours are such.

Meera Says She Had Love at First Sight with Naveed Three Years Ago

Filmstar Meera has made news regarding her marriage even before, but for all the wrong reasons. This time, she is really getting married to a guy she says she fell in love with at the first meeting almost three years ago. So this whole thing has been kept quiet by Meera for a long time. There had been a little Twitter doubt as to whether this news is even true or not, but she confirmed herself in an interview that she is indeed tying the knots with a Pakistani-American pilot named Naveed Pervez.

She told an Urdu daily, Nai Bat, that her engagement will be this month on February 19. Only close friends, family and relatives are invited. But the wedding/marriage ceremony will take a few more months to happen and the Valima will be held in Lahore. These much are the plans as for now from her side.

When asked whether she will continue to act and do modeling, she definitely answered yes saying that Naveed's family is a 'modern family' and does not believe in old traditions. Well, good for her if they don't. Let's hope they don't listen to the Lollywood news too often, and even if they do, Meeraji's convincing skills should be enough to tell them her side of the story, which matters.
