Coldplay‘s Fix You is quite possibly one of the most popular and identifiable songs of the last decade – so when 7on3rd decided to put their own spin on the music and change it up quite a bit, they knew there was an element of risk involved as the hardcore fans don’t always appreciate it when bands try to mess with perfection.

7on3rd decided to pay tribute to this brilliant song by making it a duet, change up the progressions slightly and rock out in the end. Alizey joined them on vocals for this song and did a fantastic job!

The band wrote on their website:

“Coldplay is one of the most influential bands of the last decade and we had been wanting to pay tribute to their work for quite some time now. With Alizey, we wanted to cover a song that will allow her to really sing to her strengths and we feel she did that brilliantly here. She is a remarkable vocalist and we had a great time recording this song with her and hope to do many more in the future. The pair of her and Gibran is a strong one we feel and we hope to pull of some interesting stuff in the future, so stay tuned for that. In the mean time however, we hope you enjoy our version of Fix You.”
