This was speculated because it’s only seldom that a musician-turned-actor doesn’t provide music for the film he’s starring in. The co-star "Rizwan Ahmed" also known as Riz MC, who is playing the lead role of Changez, is also a musicians-turned-actor from UK. So, I’ll be surprised not to hear his music in the film. Reluctant Fundamentalist’s Delhi schedule started this month with most of the scenes being shot with actors Liev Schreiber, Kiefer Sutherland and Riz Ahmed. Meesha also shot some of her scenes with Riz Ahmed at Humayun’s Tomb and with Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland. According to TOI, the next leg of filming is scheduled near Ajmeri Gate. They have already filmed in Nehru Place, Khan Market, Noida and other areas of the Capital. It will also be shot in New York and Istanbul. The movie also stars Om Puri, Shabana Azmi along with Hollywood actor Kate Hudson and is slated to be out next year. The shoot is being done right now in a south-Indian jungle, name of which has been kept secret because of the security concerns. Talking to Bollywood Hungama about the film, Veena revealed “It’s really hard to shoot. For one, we are shooting in the wilderness. There are no luxury hotels, no daily comforts. Then it’s a 3D film, not like the other 3D films in Hindi where the 2D format is converted into 3D. We are shooting in 3D which means every shot takes hours sometimes. It’s really time-consuming because I am playing both the ‘thriller’ and ‘horror’ element of the film.” It is interesting to know that Veena is being starred in one of the first actual 3D films to come out from India, Ra-one not being one because it was converted from 2D. To our surprise, Veena will also be doing her own stunts. “Lots of wirework and flips and somersaults and bruises and cuts. I am roughing it out here in the jungles and enjoying every bit of it” told Veena. This ought to be fun. Fingers crossed. Xpolymer Dar and Maddy Khan prove that they still own the rap game in sub-continent with their flawless verses and innovative flows on this old school classic beat by Webster. Audio Production credit goes to Adnan Khalid Rao aka Dj Danny. Music video is a part of Rap Engineers’ short film ‘GOLI’ which is being screened at different places around the globe at the moment. Video represents the lighter side of Rap Engineers and a new face of old school Hip Hop. The signature ‘Dulhan truck’ and rapping among the locals symbolizes the love for the roots. Even though the track demanded a lot of funky bling, but it was easily ignored by the Director, as none of it represents our deep roots. Major aim of this project “BATAIN” has been to bring out something totally new, yet re-live old school and bring something that can spread smiles among us, when everything else seems to make no sense.
